Nicky's dad taught him to fish, to meet his dad who is also a freshwater bass fishing instuctor, click here
All of the things that the doctors said he would never do, he has done, and more. Only
two doctors seemed to have hope and really cared about him. Dr. William Turtle, his pediatrician, and Dr. William Brown,
his pediatric neurologist, have helped my family get through these five years. Also, there are all of Nicky's therapists
from Early Intervention and his teachers who have helped him get where he is today. My husband and I would also like
to thank my mom and dad, who have helped us in more ways than can be imagined. They've supported us and, for a long time,
put their lives on hold for us. After Nicky was born, my dad, 45 years old at the time, wanted to have another baby.
That is where my mom drew the line. That brought us all laughter. She said to my dad, "Are you kidding me?
No way, I'm to old." Thanks mom and dad ... for everything!
